Nina

She wasn’t sure she’d ever been this direct with a man before.

Even Aksel seemed to be caught off guard. He hadn’t resisted, but his shock had been palpable when she hinted at him needing his energy before she dragged him toward her room.

Which they were almost at. This was it. She was about to find out what making love to a shifter was like.

Although she was more interested in Aksel than just “a shifter,” Nina would be lying if she said there wasn’t just the slightest curiosity. After all, there were stories about them, and their generally universal…prowess. She wouldn’t object if that were the case with Aksel as well.

“Are you s—” Aksel began as they slowed to a halt in front of her room.

Nina spun, pressing a finger to his lips. “One more word out of you about that, and I’ll bust you down to private so hard it’ll make your privates jealous,” she told him firmly.

“Yes, ma’am,” he said sharply.

“Better,” she said, then frowned as Aksel cocked his head sideways and began to examine her shirt.

“What are you doing?” she asked as she half-turned to put the key in the door and open it.

“I don’t see any rank insignia on your uniform,” he said slowly, his voice deepening.

Nina pushed in the door. “What are you talking about?”

Aksel followed her closely, turning the latch behind him.

“That’s a serious offense,” he purred into her ear as his hands found her waist, pulling her back against him. “And the punishment for it is quite severe.

Oh. That’s where he’s going with it.

A smile curled up the edges of her mouth. “I wasn’t impersonating anybody,” she protested in false innocence, trying to turn around, but Aksel held her firmly in place.

She could feel his muscles as they pressed into her. Including a hard bulge between his legs that couldn’t be anything but his cock.

“I’ve seen you around, ordering people to do your business,” he growled, his teeth nipping gently into her neck.

Nina whimpered quietly, his strong hands still trapping her arms to her sides as he held her, leaving her at his mercy.

“It was just an honest mistake, I promise,” she told him.

“Still a punishable offense,” he replied. “But, I might be willing to hand out a lighter sentence.”

“You would do that?” she asked hopefully, shivering as his lips switched to the other side of her neck.

“That depends,” Aksel said, his hot breath washing over her, leaving a tingling sensation as it passed.

“Depends on what?”

“If you’re willing to do what’s necessary to make up for this.”

Nina grinned, though she tried to stay in character as she spoke, enjoying the little roleplay that was going on. It was hot; she couldn’t lie.

“I’ll do whatever it takes, I promise,” she said, pleading with him.

“You don’t even know what it would take.”

“Just tell me,” she begged, her body aching for more attention as his hands only now began to move up and down her sides, still preventing her arms from going anywhere. He was just too strong.
